Cambodia
I have always loved to travel through Cambodia as it has always felt like a glimpse into the past, reminding me of a Vietnam from 10-20 years ago. A short 45 minutes flight or six-hour bus ride, I try to go at least 2-3 times a year. However, Cambodia’s modernization gap is quickly shrinking as China has focused much of its development aid and investments there. I do hope Cambodia has learned from the mistakes of other quickly developing South East Asian countries and prioritizes the protection of some of its rich cultural heritage and historic sites. Hopefully, my photos can be a small part of that preservation.
